Initial data
In December 1989, a villager named Etynkeu was returning to Vankarem from hunting. The hunter and the baggage were carried by ten sled dogs. The long way home was well known to Etynke and the dogs of the team. An unpleasant, piercing wind was blowing from the ocean, so the hunter turned his back to him. The sleds were driving fast on the hard snow.
At about five o'clock in the evening, Etynkeu noticed how a flash ran through the snow in front of the team. Thinking it was caused by the aurora borealis, the hunter looked up at the sky. And instead of the aurora borealis, I saw a huge object flying slowly and silently.
Frightened, Etynkeu shouted at the dogs, wanting to increase the speed of the team, but, to his surprise, they stopped and, squealing guiltily, lay down on the snow. The hunter was suddenly overcome by drowsiness and, falling asleep, managed to notice how the object hovering over the team illuminated the area with purple light.
When Etynkeu woke up, he realized that he came to himself quickly. His head did not have time to cool down, although the cap slipped off it when he was looking at the sky. I felt very tired and aching in my bones, as if from a strong physical exertion.
The dogs also felt bad, reluctantly taking the sled to the house. When the hunter told the villagers about what had happened to him, it turned out that similar stories had happened to many men of their village. It's just that hunters try not to tell anyone about UFO encounters. There is a belief among them that those who talk about incomprehensible flying objects will meet with them often, but they will certainly end in trouble.
