Initial data
The next documented encounter with a UFO occurred at a scheduled plane flying from Volgograd to Tbilisi. In the message transmitted by the commander of the ship to the flight control service on the night of December 14, 1987 at 23.20, it was said:
"Right on our course there is a certain flying object, similar to an airplane with searchlights turned on for landing."
This information was confirmed by the crew of another aircraft, flight number 6352, which was in the same airspace, adding that the UFO left behind a long trail of sparks. And a man who watched this UFO from the ground and called the airport control tower reported that he saw an object in the sky that looked like a burning plane, followed by a "fiery tail".
Then the object, according to the witness, suddenly flashed brightly, as if it exploded, only it happened completely soundlessly. In the next instant, the object disappeared from sight. This man did not see any debris falling to the ground.
Information about whether the case was investigated and what it really was was not found in the declassified archives.
