Initial data
Many eyewitnesses from different cities in the Netherlands reported that an orange stripe was flickering in the sky. Photos and videos of the incident were taken. It happened on April 11 around 22-00\23-00.
According to ufomeldpunt.nl this is a reflection of flaring at the Shell refinery from ice crystals or sand particles in the light.

BERGEN OP ZOOM, NB — Oranje lange flikkerende streep vertikaal op grote hoogte fel en zeer ksngzaam dovend
ETTEN-LEUR, NB — Oranje streep hangend boven de wolken, alsof er een scheur in de lucht zat. Op de foto's lijkt het kleiner en minder fel dan het was. Nooit eerder gezien.
MAASVLAKTE ROTTERDAM, ZH — Gezien vanaf de Maasvlakte in zuidoostelijke richting, was ruim 15 min aanwezig waarvan 10 minuten zichtbaar, 3 minuten niet zichtbaar en daarna weer 2 minuten wel zichtbaar maar stuk hoger in de lucht.

HOOGVLIET ROTTERDAM, ZH — Oranjerode lucht met gloeiend stipje dat een staaf werd en bleef gloeien tot het uiteindelijk verdween.
LOON OP ZAND, NB — Het was een fel oranje licht in de lucht. De kleur leek net op vuur maar het bleef stil staan. Langzaam werd de streep minder fel. Het licht kwam niet van onderen maar echt van boven. Ik was alleen op straat op het moment dat ik het licht zag. Ik heb een foto maar op deze foto komt niet helemaal goed over hoe groot en fel het object was.
BERGEN OP ZOOM, NB — In de hemel leek er iets in brand te staan. Het bleef contenu op de zelfde plek hangen en leek te branden.
SPIJKENISSE, ZH — Het ging stil, maar leek te pulseren.
