"My name is Antonio Villas-Boas, I am 23 years old, I am a farmer and I live on a farm with my family. It is located near the city of San Francisco de Salis in the state of Minas Gerais, near the border of the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil. We plow the land with a tractor, and if I have to work at night, I usually drive myself."

This is how the fantastic story begins, told by Brazilian Antonio Villas-Boas about his incredible encounter with aliens in a conversation with doctor Olavo Fontes and journalist Joao Martins. The conversation took place in Rio de Janeiro on February 22, 1958, six months after the incident.

"It all started on the night of October 5, 1957. We had guests that evening, and therefore we went to bed only at 23 o'clock, much later than usual. My brother Joao was in the room with me. Because of the heat, I opened the shutters and at that moment I saw a dazzling light in the center of the courtyard, illuminating everything around. It was much brighter than moonlight, and I couldn't explain its origin to myself. The light came from somewhere above, as if from searchlights pointing down. But there was nothing visible in the sky.

I called my brother and showed him all this, but nothing could move him, and he said it was better to go to bed. Then I closed the shutters and we both lay down. However, I could not calm down and, overcome by curiosity, soon got up again and opened the shutters. Everything was the same. As I continued to watch, I suddenly noticed that a spot of light was approaching my window.

Out of fear, I slammed the shutters and woke my brother. We watched through a crack in the shutters as a patch of light moved towards the roof. Finally, the light went out and did not appear again."

The second case

On the night of October 5, 1957, near San Francisco de Salisa (Brazil) 23-year-old farmer Antonio Vilas-Boas noticed that the yard was illuminated by silver light. After 11 a.m., he woke up his brother Juan to show that a strange light was moving towards their house. Behind the closed shutters, they could see that the light behaved as if its source was hovering over the roof.

9 days later, between 21:30 and 22:00, Antonio and Joao were working in a field when an indistinguishable source of bright red light appeared over the northern part of it (about 100 meters from the ground). Antonio, leaving his brother, drove the tractor towards the light; at this time, the light source moved to the south side. When Antonio followed him, he returned back to the north. After chasing the light about 20 times, Antonio returned to his brother. After a while, the light disappeared.
