Observation in Guerin, Seville (November 30, 1980, 21:00)
Event Description:
At nine o'clock in the evening, when it was time to close the gates separating the fenced enclosure, which contained about 200 year-old bulls, at the La Caldera ranch within the municipal borders of Guerena, Seville (dedicated to the cultivation of fighting bulls), the keepers of the said property, Ms. Josefa Acuña and her son Diego Vidal, noticed a powerful a glow similar to daylight.
It came from the area immediately adjacent to the "tentadero" [a pen used during tienta to decide whether bulls are suitable to become fighting bulls, be used for breeding or be sacrificed — Wikitonary] on the territory. They noticed a pyramidal object on the ground — an object endowed with a series of intermittent white lights on the left side, the main central light and red lights larger than the white ones on the right side.
Mother and son observed this phenomenon, regularly entering and leaving the house. The event lasted three hours, although they could not say for sure, since after this time interval they stopped leaving the house, and did not know what had become of the object.
The UFO did not disturb the 200 year-old bulls in the area, nor the guard dogs, which were particularly aggressive towards members of the GEIFO group during the visit to the object.
Moreover, with flashlights and camera flashes, GEIFO members forced these bulls to panic, putting themselves at risk.
The next morning — although the exact relation to the observation is unknown — one bull was found dead and the other wounded, although it is said that fights between them are quite common.
