What Dan Harari writes may seem like science fiction, but what he saw one afternoon in 1970 as a child was true.
Born in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Dan Harari didn't think much about the possibility of visiting extraterrestrial civilizations until the day in 1970 when he saw something that he remembered for the rest of his life.
At that time, he was 14 years old, and his father was driving him home from a Jewish school when he saw something hovering nearby and asked him to stop.
What he saw — a huge silver UFO in the shape of the letter V — made him hardly believe his eyes.
"It was about 60 meters in the air, completely silent, and it just hovered in the air," he told Mail Online. "It swept over my neighborhood very, very slowly, and I couldn't believe my eyes.
"My dad looked at him like he was thinking about what to buy at the grocery store the next day. He wasn't interested. My father's gaze was as if he had seen it a hundred times before.
Returning home, Harari called the local newspaper, and there he was informed that he had received several calls about the facility. However, nothing has ever been published about this."
Looking back at the incident today, the 66-year-old believes that his father, who was a military engineer and worked on several top-secret projects, knew exactly what kind of object it was.
He even remembers getting a "wink" at that time, but his father didn't say anything about it.
Harari has seen other UFOs in his life, but never found out what kind of object it was that he saw that day in 1970.
His father, who died in 2017, finally took everything he could know about it to his grave.

De retour à la maison, Harary a téléphoné à un journal local qui lui a dit qu’il avait reçu un certain nombre d’appels au sujet de l’objet. Cependant, rien n’a jamais été publié à ce sujet.
En repensant aujourd’hui à cet incident, l’homme de 66 ans pense que son père – qui était un ingénieur militaire ayant travaillé sur plusieurs projets top secrets – savait exactement ce qu’était l’objet.
Il se souvient même d’avoir reçu un « clin d’œil » à l’époque, mais son père n’en a rien dit.
Harary a vu d’autres ovnis au cours de sa vie, mais il n’a jamais découvert ce qu’était l’objet qu’il avait vu ce jour-là, en 1970.
Son père, décédé en 2017, a finalement emporté dans sa tombe tout ce qu’il aurait pu savoir à ce sujet.
