Dogman. Australia

The other day, an Australian resident said that while fishing in the bush (wasteland overgrown with bushes), he was chased by a “terrifying” monster similar to a human dog. To prove his words, he presented a photograph, assuring that he had managed to take it when the monster was watching him. In the photo, you can actually see something dark peeking out of the bushes, but you don't really understand what it is. It can be either the head of an ordinary dog, or just something dark and similar to a dog's head due to pareidolia.

The man, who is only called by his first name in the press – John, said that he went fishing when he saw this monster. And moreover, he stated that this was his second meeting with a “half-dog–half-man" in these places. The Australian contacted local researchers of anomalous phenomena and later they published his story in an audio podcast from the series “Believe: Paranormal & UFO".

According to John, this experience scared him so much that it left him in a state of shock for a month.

“I first saw him last year, I was fishing in my boat and paddling along the shore. And I noticed that every time I did one stroke, something moved in the bushes parallel to the boat. When I took a break, the movement and sound in the bushes also stopped. It seemed a little strange to me. Then I started rowing again and this thing started chasing me again. Then I realized that it wasn't something random and that it was deliberately following me. It was sneaking...”

At some point, the creature poked its head out of the thicket and then John grabbed his mobile phone and took one picture. According to him, this creature seemed to him like a Dog-man from urban legends.

“After that, I was afraid to return to this place for a whole month. I was in a state of severe shock for a whole month. I woke up at night from nightmares in which I saw this creature.“

However, a month later, despite the fear still present, John decided to go fishing in the area again (a specific place was not indicated to him). And as soon as he came back to those bushes, he heard a loud noise in the thicket, like a pop, and then there was a crackling sound, as if something was running in the bushes at full speed.

“When it ran, it destroyed everything in its path. I do not know if it broke trees and bushes, because I did not see it, it was difficult to see something there because of how lush the bushes were there.“

After that, John heard a growl and then thought it was definitely the same creature. Then within 10 minutes John was running back to his car to get out of this place.

“I've never heard anything like this in my life. He growled and then took a breath, but that breath was actually louder than the growl he was making. This creature just went to another level, and it was real madness. And then I heard in my head something like “Leave now or you will die.” It wasn't my own voice, it wasn't my own consciousness, it was something else. Those 10 minutes were probably the longest in my life, I thought I was going to be killed. I didn't have any weapons with me, or even a fishing knife, and the telephone connection didn't catch here.“

John understands that his words sound bizarre, but he is sure that the creature looked like a Dog-Man and he warns other lovers of fishing or hunting in the Australian outback about the danger they may face.

“I've heard about the Dog Man before and thought it was a joke, but actually I saw him and it's terrible. I wouldn't make a fool of myself by showing this photo if it was a fake. This is the main reason why I told about it, I'm worried that someone will go missing or get injured, and I will have the thought in my heart that I should have told someone about it.“
