Description:
The duration of aiming is 5 minutes. Clear sky, moon and stars, no wind.
The witness noticed a small bright orange light moving from east to west and at some point passed directly over the witness's house.
The witness at first thought it could have been a flare fired by party-goers after the Hamilton V8 car race that day, however, he quickly realized that it was not a flare due to its steady, straight, horizontal flight path and the fact that it continued. along the way, until he became too small to see in the distance. There was no sound associated with the sight.
The witness stated that he was too amazed by what he saw to think about bringing his camera.

Description:
Duration of sighting 5 minutes. Clear sky, moon and stars, no wind.
The witness observed a small bright orange light tracking from east to west, and at one point, traveling directly over the witness’s house. The witness initially thought it could be a flare set off by party-goers after the Hamilton V8 car races that day, however he quickly realized it was not a flare because of its steady, straight, horizontal flight path, and the fact that it continued on that path until it was too small to see in the distance. There was no sound associated with the sighting. The witness stated he was too awestruck by the sighting to think of fetching his camera.
