After reading the article "Exactly at 4.10" in the newspaper "Trud" on January 30, I decided to write and tell about a very similar phenomenon that I had to observe 8-9 years ago. I don't know if such long-standing observations will be useful in your research. At that time I lived in the Smolensk region, Shumyachsky district, the village of Savochkina Palom.

It happened in the summer. Gathering near the club, our youth noticed a very strange phenomenon, which I was an eyewitness to. In the daytime we could not see anything, but as soon as it began to get dark, some strange round-shaped cloud appeared on the western side of the sky, from which a searchlight beam suddenly appeared and began to move to the left, then to the right. It lasted for a few minutes, then everything disappeared. But after a while it appeared again, but a little to the side. With the onset of complete darkness, it was as if a ray was bursting out of the sky from an empty place. And so it was repeated for 3-4 days and always appeared almost in one place. About the distance I can only say that it was quite far from us and from the earth. At that time it occurred to us that this was some kind of flying machine. But his actions were not clear to us.

I remember they were going to write about this phenomenon to our district newspaper "For the Harvest", but I can't give exact confirmation whether it was done. Adults, on the other hand, reacted skeptically to our messages, did not attach much importance. That's all I can tell you on this issue.
