QUESTIONNAIRE
Observer: Ovsyanik Vladimir Markovich. Year of birth 1947. Profession boatmaster, Place of work Leningrad Passenger Port, North-Western Order of the October Revolution of the River Shipping Company.
At the time of observation, he was healthy. At the time of the UFO sighting, I was very well informed. AYA's observations in the past were.
The method of observation is visually and through binoculars. There is a slide.
Witnesses: the mechanic of the ship Neustupkin Vasily Alexandrovich, year of birth 1954. There were other witnesses plus passengers.
Attention was attracted by a mechanic who was standing at the window of the wheelhouse, he drew attention to an unusual ball.
2. Coordinates. Karelian ASSR, Sartoval district, Valaam Island. Pier
"Monastery Bay". The motor ship OM-372. The departure from the pier has begun. The mooring lines were given away.
Date - 10/25/1985 Time - 07-03 (Moscow, winter)
Visibility is good, cloud cover is about 30%, there were no clouds in the area. The sky was clear. Dawn was breaking. There were no stars, moon and Sun. It was quite light, but the lighting on the pillars of the shore was still on.
The mechanic said: "Look how Balaam accompanies us on the last flight!" (It was Friday).
From the side of the "Bayev" Islands, a balloon was rising from the horizon. It moved from East to West at an angle of 30° to the horizon. The azimuth on the ball is 90°- East. The distance to the ball is the eastern shore of Valaam Island about 2 - 3 km. The geometric shape is a ball. The visible size is 15 cm in diameter (according to the ruler, with the length of the arm from the eye = 67 cm).
3 Description. The substance of the ball is metallic, silvery in color, illuminated by the rays of the Sun located beyond the horizon. There was an inversion gray trail behind the ball (the Mechanic saw a thin ray of light coming down from the ball). The ball itself was not glowing. There was no sound.
4 Evolution. When the ball came out of the horizon, it formed six symmetrically arranged inversion "tails". Then the "tails" curved all in one direction - the ball apparently began to rotate. When the length of the inversion "tails" reached the size of three ball diameters (each "tail") the ball began to rotate rapidly and began to rapidly recede into the zenith, and soon disappeared from view. The speed of the ball is comparable to the speed of a piston aircraft.
The layout of the time of the observed evolution of the object:
- exit from the horizon and start of rotation - 7-03 - 7-08
- care of the observer for the camera - 7-08 - 7-09
- the ball's departure to Zenit ("dissolved") - 7-09 - 7-12
--
Total duration 9 - 10 minutes
5. Footprints. When the ship sailed into Lake Ladoga, Captain Ovsyanik V.M. saw that the contrail trail stretches not from the "Bayev" Islands, but from the eastern shore of Lake Ladoga; or rather, from the depth of the shore, and the height of the trail is about 6 km. At the beginning of the trail, the observer saw 2 interceptor fighter planes. Their speed was 2 times slower than that of the ball.
What seemed the most unusual? - The attractiveness of the phenomenon. The captain stopped mooring the vessel and observed an unusual phenomenon.
The impression is unforgettable
