After reading the article "So, UFOs" in the newspaper "Trud" on January 5 and a request to report the anomalous phenomena I saw, I want to report the following:

Now I don't remember exactly the year and date (about 4 years ago) when it was, but if desired, it can be easily found out, since there was a Luga hurricane that night and it was naturally recorded in the Meadow. That night I was at my dacha in the village of Novye Politsy, 28 km from Luga towards Pskov. By evening, a thunderstorm was gathering, it was rumbling around and my mother and I went to bed in different rooms. I fell asleep, but suddenly woke up from the fact that the room was very bright and the light was pulsing all the time, getting brighter and dimmer at intervals of 2-3 seconds. I looked out the window and saw that a huge balloon was rising from behind the forest (it was 600 meters from the windows). He rose from behind the forest and at about an altitude of 2-5 - 30 meters began to approach the village and directly to my house.

The light from it was so bright that everything could be seen all the way to the forest as in the daytime, every bush and every hummock. The light was pulsing all the time and the ball was rapidly approaching. I had a camera with me, but I forgot about it, because I was decently scared, thinking that it was a giant ball lightning and it was moving directly at the house, although higher. Wondering whether to stay in the room or run outside in case of a collision, I looked at the steam as if fascinated, and it stopped over the garden 20-25 meters from the HOUSE and hovered, continuing to emit a bright pulsating light. After hanging in place for a minute, maybe a little more, he began to move back in the same direction and soon disappeared again behind the same forest from where he had risen.

It became dark, the numbness passed and I lay down again, very sorry that I forgot about the camera. The ball was 1.5-1 meters in diameter and constantly emitted a bright, pulsating light.

In the morning I asked my mother if she had seen this bright ball, but she said she had been asleep and had not seen anything.

And then they reported that there was a hurricane over the Meadow that night, causing great damage to the city and the surrounding forests. Traces of the hurricane are still visible in the form of strips of fallen forest. Where did a hurricane suddenly appear in our hilly forest area, why have there never been hurricanes before and is the appearance of this ball not connected with this hurricane?
