In August 1984, an emerald (bright) star suddenly flashed on the southern district of Leningrad (Dachnoye) at night around 3 o'clock. I have been living in Leningrad since 1950.
I feel something is interfering with sleep. I get up, look out the window and see this star. And you know, the light still gave the impression that it penetrates through. I closed the curtains - it doesn't help. I persuade myself - you're not a mystic, not an alcoholic - let's think it over. I look out the window - there she is. I remember the camera and rush after it. I inserted the film, I go to the window, look, put the aperture, shutter speed (3.5 - V) I make props and it disappears.
The night was dark-without stars. She didn't move from her place. Not a rocket, not a satellite. A material body was clearly felt.
I tried to determine because I know how to determine, but the brightness is less and still take a chance. About 10-50 km.
The observation time is about 30 minutes.
