I saw something like that many years ago, too. It happened in the Novosibirsk region. Unfortunately, I don't even remember the year - from 1953 to 1956, this could have happened. I worked with the trajectory on the field. It was evening time after sunset. After a while, a strong rumble of thunder was heard. This object (maybe a rocket) probably fell to the ground.
