I want to write to you what we saw 15-13 years ago. Maybe it doesn't matter to you anymore, it's been a long time, I somehow didn't know where to write, but it was inconvenient, suddenly no one would believe. But maybe my letter will somehow help to sort out such things.

My mother and I also lived in Riga at that time, only on 22 Revolution Street. We were very annoyed by a neighbor during the day, and in order not to see him and not to quarrel, we sometimes cooked at night.

It was in the summer, at night, about 2-3 nights. the kitchen window was wide open, there were no curtains in the kitchen. The whole house was asleep and only the light in our window was on, on the 4th floor. I waited for the water to boil and looked out the window. From our window we could see the whole sky up to the Dvina and beyond. I noticed a very big blue bright star somewhere in the distance, and I was surprised how big it was. I went to the room for my mother, brought her to the kitchen to show this star. We stood and looked at her. Suddenly, it began to increase or approach us, at breakneck speed and in a matter of seconds, it turned from a round shape into an oblong one. Shiny and blue and hovered almost above us. We were very scared and thought it was a bomb or something, it flew without a single sound, just increased and flew straight at us, at our house.

In the first minutes we were numb with fear, then, when the first fear passed, I wanted to shout to my mother - throw yourself on the floor under the windowsill, or I wanted to push her with my hand so that she fell, but I felt that I couldn't move and I couldn't move my arms or legs, but I could only move my eyes, and by it was as if a thread had been stretched across the bridge of her nose. So we stood with horror for a while for quite a long time, my head was working - I had to run, call someone, do something - and not move.

We thought that we were all lost. But then the object suddenly began to shrink or fly away and before it could disappear completely, my heart began to pound violently, as if something had let go of it and we broke off and ran after the neighbors. Everyone came running, a neighbor with her daughter, their grandmother, a neighbor with a camera, but there was this star there was nothing else at all. they didn't believe us, they laughed. but it was real. That's why we didn't write anywhere. But it was real. And my mother later told me that she was paralyzed just like me, and she too could not move from her place for quite a long time, she wanted to touch me somehow imperceptibly and could not.

That was the case with us, and if you're interested, I wrote about it. It's true, but it was a long time ago.
