In the last few weeks, a mysterious hum has been disturbing residents of the small town of Omagh in Northern Ireland. Residents report that a strange buzzing sound penetrates into their homes, interfering with sleep and causing anxiety. Local authorities are making efforts to identify the source of this sound, which still remains a mystery.
Alliance Council member Stephen Donnelly stressed that the problem has serious consequences for the residents of Omagh, and promised that local authorities will take all necessary measures to resolve this mysterious problem.
"What we need to do is establish the facts and get to the bottom of it, and then take action to resolve this problem," Donnelly said.
At the moment, the local council of Fermanagh and Omagh is conducting an investigation, but so far it has not been possible to determine the source of the strange buzzing. Residents living in various parts of the city report difficulties in pinpointing the exact location from which the sound is coming.
One of the residents of the city said that the sound resembles a vibrating noise that is heard at about 12 or 1 o'clock every night. Although many are used to this sound, it still causes concern among the inhabitants.
This case is not the first in the world when mysterious sounds become the object of study. Similar anomalies have also been recorded in New Zealand and Brisbane, as well as in Bristol, UK. Experts were looking for an explanation for these phenomena, offering various theories, including the effect of waves, factory noises and even flying saucers.
While the residents of Oma are waiting for the results of the investigation, the annoying hum continues to disrupt the night harmony of the city, causing a lot of questions.
