It was 1961. It was June, white nights in Leningrad. Place of observation Obukhovskaya Oborona Ave., 287. We were returning at twelve o'clock from the Spartak garden, which stands near the Bolshevik military plant, and suddenly I noticed that 7 or 8 plates of light orange color were standing at a high altitude above the house No. 34 on Sofiyskaya Street, stretching almost in a line (the line was broken). Their visual diameter was 5 cm .
The sky side is southwest. As I remember, these saucers didn't move in my opinion, although now it's affirmative, I can't say anymore, after all, many years have passed.
The weather was magnificent, the sky was clear and warm.
