To the Commission on Anomalous Phenomena of pot Galkina G.F. member of the FACT

On April 30, 1990, I observed an unusual phenomenon from my window. I live on ave. Strikes near the Kirovets House of Culture, on the 2nd floor. Most of the visible space is covered by large poplars. the windows face south-east. earlier, when the space was open, part of Zina Portnova Street and the end of one of the houses of the Nevsky department store were visible from the apartment windows.

It was about 22-30. The street lights were already on. There was no moon or stars to be seen. The trees in the thick twilight seemed dark, almost black against the background of a lighter sky. Among the mass of greenery, 2 tops of the tallest poplars stood out. I watched TV, and listened more than I watched, as the deputies of the Leningrad City Council said. From time to time I looked up from the TV and looked out the window. When I once again looked out the window, I saw an orange ball that was sort of inscribed in the corner between two tree tops. It was bright, beautiful and unexpected. It was the color of a flame, slightly smaller than the moon. but I saw him in motion and, going to the left, disappeared behind the leaves. As it seemed to me, he was moving simultaneously to the left and into the distance, apparently to the east. The corner where the tops of the trees are separated is approximately at the roof level of the neighboring 5-storey building. I looked out of the window for a long time and carefully, but the balloon no longer came out into the open space. Only 2 times a bright light flashed in the gap between the leaves, and by its shade I assume that it was the same ball.

Moreover, the second time it flashed to the right than the first time, so we can assume that the object made a zigzag. Unfortunately, the dense undergrowth outside the window did not allow me to examine anything in detail. I asked the neighbors in the house, but no one else saw anything.

The TV was working fine at that time. I didn't feel any influence on myself, neither harmful nor useful. As it seemed to me, the ball was at a great distance, but I can not determine this for sure.

I'm not in any way claiming that it was a UFO, but I think it's not out of the question.
