A series of uneven white flashes, followed by a red flashing sky, was noticed by an eyewitness from the city of Rosendahl.
A series of uneven white flashes of light, followed by a red flashing sky. At first I thought it was thunder, but it wasn't.
Later I saw a red-pink sky (it was about one o'clock in the morning). It was as if there was something huge behind the clouds. It had a flashing/fading on and off signal. I searched the area for 112 reports of possible fires or anything that could explain it, but nothing.

ROOSENDAAL, NB — Serie onregelmatige witte lichtflitsen gevolgd door rood knipperende lucht. Ik dacht eerst dat het onweerde maar dat was niet het geval. Toen later zag ik rood roze lucht (dit was rond 01:00). Alsof er iets reusachtigs achter de wolken zat. Dit had een knipperende/ dovende aan en uit toon. Ik heb in de omgeving gezocht naar 112 meldingen naar eventuele branden of iets wat het wellicht kon verklaren maar niks.
