Initial data
A frightening video has appeared on social networks showing a Tesla car driving into a cemetery at night, and figures of people appear and disappear next to it on its display.
Usually, the Tesla display shows the objects closest to the car, including pedestrians walking on the sidewalk next to the road. But in this case, when the car stops at the cemetery, only the tombstones and no people are visible outside the window.
Behind the scenes, the passengers of the car can be heard laughing nervously and saying:
"What the hell is this?" as figures of moving people appear and disappear on the display.
At some point, there are especially many "ghosts", literally a whole crowd, but they disappear as suddenly as they appeared.
The author of the video, one of the passengers of this car, claims that he works as an engineer at Tesla and everything that happens on the display is not a joke, specially created by programmers.
"I can confirm that this is not an Easter egg added by Elon, as I have tried it many times," he says.
He also says it can't be a random glitch because of the names on the tombstones, because otherwise the people on the display wouldn't be moving.
Tesla cars are equipped with various sensors, including cameras, radars and ultrasonic sensors that help detect and identify objects around the car. So maybe he can also detect something like an electromagnetic anomaly and thus detect ghosts?
Original news
A frightening video has gone viral on social networks in which a Tesla car drives into a cemetery at night and its display shows figures of people appearing and disappearing next to it.
Typically, Tesla’s display shows objects closest to the car, including pedestrians walking on the sidewalk next to the road. But in this case, when the car stops at the cemetery, only tombstones and no people are visible outside the window.
Off-screen, the car’s passengers can be heard laughing nervously and saying, “What the hell is this?” as figures of moving people appear and disappear on the display.
At some point, there are especially many “ghosts”, literally a whole crowd, but they disappear as suddenly as they appeared.
The author of the video, one of the passengers in this car, claims that he works as an engineer at Tesla and that everything that happens on the display is not a joke specially created by programmers.
“I can confirm that this is not an Easter egg Elon added as I’ve tried this many times,” he says.
He also says that this can’t be a random glitch due to the names on the tombstones, because otherwise those people on the display wouldn’t move.
Tesla cars are equipped with a variety of sensors, including cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors, that help it detect and identify objects around the car. So maybe it can also detect something like an electromagnetic anomaly and thus detect ghosts?

A Tesla detected mysterious human figures in a graveyard in an eerie late-night encounter. A man, who wasn't named, was driving through a graveyard in Burrillville, Rhode Island, USA when figures began to appear on the vehicle's control screen. Accompanied by his fiancé and brother, the trio can be heard screaming in fear as the figures multiply on the screen. The man, a Tesla employee, said: "[I can] confirm this is not an Easter egg Elon added as I’ve tried this many times. "It’s not just picking up the gravestones as even if it was they would show as stationary on the screen."
Hypotheses
Software mode or fault
The TV suddenly turns on and off, switch channels.
Light: flickers, suddenly turns on and off.

Investigation
This is not the only case of this kind. For example, in 2021. Most likely, this is a neural network error.
In the video, we can't see what's going on outside the window and we can't make sure that people aren't really there. At the very beginning of the video, we see a man in this place. Although the strange behavior of "people" on the screen is more like a "glitch".
To check whether this is an accidental failure or whether these machines are new ghost detectors, as indicated in the article, it is necessary to drive along this route several times on this and similar machines.
