UFO. Azerbaijan

From a letter to the Commission on:

I am sending you a sketch made on the balcony of the Azerbaijan Hotel in 1978.

There were three of us, we were going to eat watermelon... A spotlight suddenly flashed on. we are cinematographers, we know what sizes digs exist. But it was much more than that... We watched the phenomenon in silence, unable to utter a word. Only all three of them stretched out their arms and pointed with their fingers at the object, which, with a slight slope towards the sea, was coming from us. After 10-12 seconds, it was all over. There was no helicopter (it would still be foolish to assume that modern dragonflies could fit such a spotlight on themselves), no tower crane or any other crane in that place. The sky was dark, but there were no clouds. We were very sorry that we didn't film it - the camera was lying next to it, behind the wall of the balcony. But... We had so little time. One of us sketched it and everyone signed up.

In the morning, we asked a local resident (our driver) if he had seen anything unusual in the evening and what they were saying in the city. I didn't see anything, I didn't hear anything. And the fireball is the oil vapors catching fire. We shrugged our shoulders and didn't ask anyone else anything.
