A flash of light with great wind power was seen over Graau.

Last night we slept with the window wide open. I woke up around 3 or 4 a.m. to a flash of light, followed by a strong suction stream/wind rising up. The weather was very calm at that time, so it's clearly not the fault. The sound was like an airplane taking off, but faster. The insect net was sucked in. After 5-10 seconds, everything calmed down again. The wind was calm again, as before, and there were no more flashes. I woke up my partner, unfortunately, he didn't notice anything. What do you think?

Lichtflits met enorme windkracht

GRAAUW, ZL — We sliepen vannacht met het raam wagenwijd open. Rond 03 of 04:00 uur wakker geworden van een lichtflits gevolgd door een enorme zuigkracht/wind die naar boven trok. Het weer was op dit moment heel rustig, dus hier lag het overduidelijk niet aan. Het klonk ongeveer hetzelfde als een vliegtuig die opsteeg maar dan sneller. Het horrengaas werd mee naar boven gezogen. Na een 5-10 seconden kalmeerde alles weer. Opnieuw stille wind zoals daarvoor en geen flits meer waargenomen. Mijn partner wakker gemaakt, hij heeft helaas niets gemerkt. Wat denken jullie?
