A message about the observation of a luminous object in Leningrad by Vera Alekseevna Dymova.

This happened last summer. It seemed to be a day off. The weather was nice and quiet. The sun had already set, but it was not dark. The TV was still on. I don't remember what they showed. I was reading something lying in bed. Suddenly, the room was illuminated by a flash of red light. My first thought was that it was an explosion at a heating plant, but there were no sounds from the street. It was quiet. I got up and went to the window. outside the window, in the sky above the opposite twelve-storey building (Bogatyrsky Lane, house 9), 1.5 - 2 floors above the house, from left to right, from north to south flew something like a red-hot "spring" (spring) with short double antennae on the nose and long antennae on the tail. I can well imagine what helicopters, airplanes, rockets and even fireballs look like in flight, I've seen it before. My husband was the head of the airport. What I saw that evening was unlike anything I knew. I saw this "spring" for about 3 seconds, until it disappeared behind the next house.

The next morning, when I told my neighbor from the 6th floor, Evgenia Arkadyevna Ovchinnikova, about this case, she confirmed that she saw a flash of red light in the kitchen late at night, the window of which faces south.

In the middle of the summer of 1988 (late July-early August), late in the evening, something flashed brightly in the kitchen, as if there was a fire. The light was red. it lasted for a few moments and then went out. There were no extraneous sounds.and the next day, a neighbor told me that she saw some kind of "spherical spiral" last night, the light from which I probably saw.
