.. As the lights approached, we saw that they were located on a huge cigar-shaped body that did not shine through against the background of the stars... the sky. The impression was that an ocean steamer flew across the sky absolutely soundlessly at an altitude of about a kilometer. We watched it for about 2-3 minutes. Having passed almost over our heads, the unknown ship went into space (and not over the horizon).

(...) For a week and a half, while I was in Kamyshin, the residents of the city were surprised to discuss what they saw and repeatedly asked us, the military, what was flying through the sky. We got off with jokes.

However, it is still not clear to me what we observed at that time, because it does not fit into any modern concepts, although I understand reactive technology.
