Mr. and Mrs. ROBERG MEDTKE (Robert Miedtke) From Brooksfield, they were sleeping in a camping trailer with the door half open when they were woken up by the barking of their German Shepherd.
Looking out, they saw a crescent-shaped object on or above the surface of the pasture.
For 2.5 hours, the family listened, not daring to leave the trailer. A strange silence was observed. Even their dog stopped barking. Several times, heavy footsteps were heard on the gravel around the trailer.
When morning came, there were still no ordinary sounds coming from outside. Then the dog barked again. The witnesses looked out and found that the UFO had disappeared. The usual sounds of early morning began to be heard again.
