Initial data
1952, October 17, 12-50 p.m. FRANCE, Oloron.
The phenomenon was observed by many eyewitnesses. The best description belongs to: Monsieur Yves Prinjant, the teacher.
"In the north, a strangely shaped cloud floated across the blue sky. The long, narrow cylinder beneath it was moving slowly to the southwest at an angular height of 45°
I estimate the altitude of its flight at 2-3 km. The object was whitish, not luminous, and was very clearly visible. Something like white smoke was coming out of its upper end. In front of the cylinder there were about 30 other objects moving in the same direction. (...)
Through theater binoculars, it was clear that each small object consisted of a central sphere surrounded by a yellowish ring tilted at some angle. The angle was such that the lower part of the central sphere was hidden, while the upper part was clearly visible. These "plates" moved in pairs, in fast and short zigzags.
When the two "plates" came closer, a white stripe appeared between them, similar to an electric arc.
Interference was recorded at the radar station in Mont-do-Marsan (Mout-de-Marsan).Particles of smoke emitted from the cylinder fell to the ground in large quantities. This is one example of a fallout
the so-called "angel hair" self-dissolving in contact with the soil, as if they were in a stable ionized state!
