Initial data
On July 6, 1965, the Norwegian ship Yavesta transited between Venezuela and the Canary Islands.
The signalman from the bridge reported a bright object moving in the sky. Eyewitnesses described the object in detail. They claimed that they saw flames, the object itself made unexpected turns. The speed was tremendous. Moving from north to south, silently.
The observer on the port side, sailor Hernande Ambrosio, claimed that "the object appeared as if from over the sea and was moving in a northerly direction, then suddenly changed course." Chief Petty Officer Torgim Lien's statement: "With absolute certainty, I can say the usual type, not about a rocket, not about a meteor and not about a ball lightning."
