UFO sightings near Krasnodar on August 20-25, 1988.

The observation was recorded from the words of a student of the 9th grade of Krasnodar Secondary school No. 14 Sinitsin Viktor Gennadievich.

At the end of August 1988, Sinitsin V. was in the Komsomol youth camp "Druzhba" near Krasnodar (about 15 minutes drive). The camp is located near (1.2 km) Krasnodar airport. Around 19-00 or 20-00 p.m. Sinitsin V. was playing basketball at the camp...

He did not observe UFOs at first, because he noticed the object (like the rest of the players) when the object was already above the basketball court. It was a red ball surrounded by a glowing halo. He hovered over the platform at an angle of about 80 degrees. The size of the object is approximately the diameter of the moon. The height (approximately) is the level of the fifth floor. After a short time, the ball split into 5 identical balls, but 4 of them seemed green. Then the balls merged back into one, which then moved away towards the airport. The total observation time is 3-5 minutes.

There were no special sounds.

Weather conditions: quiet evening, clear sky.

The object had a spherical shape. There was a glowing halo near the object.
