The Slovak company KleinVision has developed an AirCar transformer car, which literally spreads its wings in a couple of minutes and turns from a sports car into an airplane. The model has been successfully tested and should go on sale within a year.

The vehicle is powered by a petrol engine from BMW. The maximum possible speed is 300 kilometers per hour, the flight altitude is more than 2 kilometers. The salon is double. According to the developers, this is a great option for both private trips and for a commercial taxi company.

The tests were carried out according to the standards established by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Six months ago AirCar flew between cities for the first time. In total, during the test period, the car took off and landed more than two hundred times. According to the results of the tests, the Transport Department of Slovakia issued a certificate confirming the suitability of the model for flights.
