On the Big island of Hawaii, East of Hawaii volcanoes national Park, deep in the jungle located a smaller, but no less amazing Park "Lava trees." Environmental scientists call the Hawaiian lava trees are a miracle of nature.

Lava tree representing charred on the outside and hollow skeletons of trees that got in the way of fire flow during an eruption. As experts explain, when a fast moving flow of lava meets a cool, saturated with moisture, it is cooled somewhat, and the tree is isolated from the rest of the flow. Thus, the internal moisture of wood does not allow the fire to burn him immediately. Most often, the wood eventually burned, however, in some cases, the lava wraps around the tree and clears the space around it area or drains into a crevice. In this case, in place of the once green tree charred remains of a vertical pillar of frozen lava, repeats the contours of the dead tree.

Individual trees, not burnt to the ground, after the withdrawal of the fire flow can even come back to life and after years turn green again, at least partially. Such amazing pictures-scorched lava trees can be seen in a Hawaiian Park "Lava trees."

The grounds of this Park — area the Hawaiian jungle got in the way of a lava flow in 1790, when there was a major eruption of Kilauea volcano, the most active volcano in the world.
