British actress Tessa Coates became an accidental participant in an amazing photographic experiment. In an iPhone photo, Tessa appeared in three different poses in front of two mirrors, creating the illusion of three different versions of herself.
The technological anomaly occurred as a result of a malfunction of the smartphone. Instead of correctly interpreting the reflection in the mirror, the camera processed each pose of Tessa as a separate one. Since a mirror was present, the algorithm determined that the different moments shown in each mirror were the best for this reflection. Thus, three unique versions of the actress were obtained in a single photo.
At the time of the shooting, Tessa Coates was trying on wedding dresses. In one mirror, her image is with her arms down, in the other - with her hands joined at the waist, and the real image is of the actress standing with her left arm lowered along her torso. This moment turned out to be very fascinating and a little mystical, especially considering that Coates was moving during the shooting.
Experts say that similar errors can occur on various smartphones due to limitations of computer photography algorithms related to the operation of mirrors. Such phenomena are becoming popular among young people who use similar technological "tricks" to create funny and original pictures for social networks.
