Sally pike, the daughter of a retired police officer, was watching a UFO in Cradle hill, near Warminster, when she saw "a tall male figure walking down the road in the moonlight."
The figure was seven feet (2.1 m) tall, had very long, limp arms, no neck, and was silvery in appearance, though almost transparent.
This spot on the Salisbury plain was a popular spot for UFO sightings, with hundreds of sightings conducted since 1964.
