Stephen Jenkins awoke to the sound of clearly audible footsteps on the stairs. Then two creatures appeared on the platform.
The texture of their bodies was "something of a tightly compressed fleshy leaves." Their faces were reddish, with yellow eyes with hard black pupils. Around them was a semi-transparent, faintly glowing "box-like structure".
In a moment they were gone.
