Francis Dejohn was standing in the driveway when he noticed an object hovering 10 feet (3 m) above his neighbor's yard, which slowly drifted in his direction and lost altitude as it moved.
It entered his yard and sailed right in front of him, at arm's length. When it reached its threshold, it rose about 4 feet (1.2 m), then moved towards it again and passed it.
When it flew 5 feet (1.5 m) and left the ground, it came up, thinking to catch it, and looked inside.
He saw there "3 lives side by side", one of which said to him: "Would you do this with an object from another world?» His answer was "No."
The object moved away, rose slowly, made a turn, and disappeared between two houses. Mr. DeJong found it "a pleasant and enjoyable experience."
