Initial data
In his cabin, Whitley Strieber was awakened by a blow to his leg. He opened his eyes and saw a dark figure standing by the bed. She suddenly jumped to the foot of the bed and leaned against it.
Strieber noticed that he was very small and was wearing a white tunic. He could see that it was a man with a dark face, pale skin, and rather heavy features, perhaps even a little potbellied. He had black hair.
Strieber started to grab his wife's shoulders, but was stopped by a quick gesture. Strieber could hear him breathing and felt that he wanted him to come closer. He threw off the blanket and sat up.
The little creature stared at him with shrewd, unblinking eyes. Strieber suddenly lost consciousness and didn't see the little man leave.
It is reported that the same humanoid visited him several nights in a row.
