Several locals reported seeing a bizarre creature described as an" aswan", which was thought to be a winged vampire-type creature, it reportedly had red glowing eyes, long black hair, and a white flowing dress.

He was seen sitting on top of a bamboo tree. Residents of nearby Roxas reported seeing a similar creature. The police were called, but the search did not find anything.
