A woman named Pasquala Alzogaray rode her horse 25 kilometers in the middle of the night to ask for help from the police in the small village of La Union, because, as she claimed, all the local ranchers are frightened by the repeated presence of a strange hairy humanoid of considerable size.
Alzogaray claims to have seen the creature and described it as a kind of hair-covered gorilla walking on two legs and having the appearance of a "cursed creature".
"Something has to be done about it, it's Ukumar," she told police at the barracks, 500 miles north of the provincial capital.
Pasquala Alzogaray claims that she saw the strange creature along with other members of her family, and this fear prompted them to leave the neighborhood until the police take any action.
"All the ranchers in and around El Divisadero are afraid. This Ukumar, "she says," roams around at night, stealing farm animals and making noises. When we go out to explore, we can feel it jumping through the tall treetops. This is a monster, and something needs to be done about it. Those of us who live in this area, both Creoles and indigenous people, are very scared, " the applicant stressed.
