Under the title "Abbott and Costello meet the Creature from the Black Lagoon" it is customary to understand part of an episode of the TV show "The Colgate Comedy Hour" (orig. "The Colgate Comedy Hour"), which was broadcast on February 21, 1954 - shortly after the release of the movie "The Creature from the Black Lagoon". In one of the sketches of the show, guest hosts Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, who had already met almost all the classic monsters of Universal Studios, played a meeting with a new monster. Obviously, this sketch became part of the promo campaign of the film and was intended to attract viewers to cinemas.
The sketch can be found freely available (and in rather poor quality) on the Internet.
The action of the sketch takes place in the premises of the Universal studio, in which all the classic monsters are stuffed. For some reason, the monsters themselves are there: Lou Costello first encounters the jokes of the invisible man, then meets Frankenstein's monster, and in the end - with the Creature from the Black Lagoon itself.
Phenomena in artwork: Poltergeist
The poltergeist moves objects on Lou Costello's desk, and then picks them up from the ashtray and lights a cigarette. Apparently, the reason for the unusual phenomenon is the jokes of the invisible man (although they don't talk about it directly in the sketch).

Phenomena in artwork: Zombies
Frankenstein's monster appears out of the box and walks behind Lou Costello for a while with his classic gait with his arms outstretched.

The creature from the Black Lagoon appears at the end of the sketch for just a few seconds, coming out of the closet. She attacks Lou Costello, who loses consciousness from shock, after which the sketch ends.
