On the night of May 22-23, 1997, student Alexander Morozov was returning by night train from Moscow, where he studied. The young man had money only for a minibus that took him to Surikov Street. I had to get to Shcherbinok on foot.
Alexander was walking along Tropinin Street and when he turned off Gagarin Avenue, he saw an incomprehensible glow that was coming from the Automobile Plant. At first, the student did not pay much attention to it, but gradually the glow transformed into a dense disc-shaped object that hovered over the wasteland.
– I felt dizzy, and I was paralyzed, - Morozov recalls. – I've always had good eyesight, and here I sometimes see nothing, then I see the world around me in fragments. Then I had a black-out. Suddenly three incomprehensible figures floated out of the darkness, picked me up in their arms and carried me somewhere... I woke up sitting on the ground in the same place.
A day later, Morozov examined this place. He didn't find anything unusual. Alexander consulted with familiar physicists.
"It is quite likely that it was a ball lightning, and you were just "touched"– – they said. - Thank God that you remained alive!"
