The woman claims that a ghost has settled in her house. A terrified mother demands a new home for her and her child because she is convinced that their terraced house is haunted by the ghost of a man named Nigel.
Stacey McGill claims that the presence of a ghost is expressed in turning on and off lights, manipulating electrical appliances, moving paintings on the walls, as well as creaking floorboards in her Loughborough home.
A 29-year-old woman who moved into the house last December with her 25-year-old partner Carl and their 18-month-old daughter Chelsea claims that she hired a medium to investigate, who confirmed the presence of "male energy" in their house.
Paranormal specialist Dave Wickers said that he managed to come into contact with a ghost living in the McGill house and said that the man's name was Nigel and he died when he was about forty.
"We returned from the store yesterday and when I went to cook porridge for my daughter, the light turned on by itself, no one touched the switch. It's so unnerving. I noticed something was wrong with this house almost as soon as we moved in. I felt like a spider's web was entangling my whole body. But I put it down to fatigue and nervous fatigue caused by the move. But later Carl confessed to me that he felt the same way. Later, the microwave oven began to turn off by itself, and the paintings moved around the walls. One morning we woke up at 3 a.m. to the sound of repair work. It was so loud, but we didn't see any working men anywhere, it was a ghost," says McGill.
In the end, McGill decided to contact Vickers, who has since visited her house twice and took pictures with a special video camera and measured the electromagnetic field.
"Based on the tests conducted, Vickers confirmed that a ghost lives in the house. We used to live in an apartment next door and we didn't have any problems. I just want the housing association to provide us with another apartment. As far as I know, the last tenant didn't experience anything, but some people are more sensitive to ghosts than others," says McGill.
