A resident of the British city of Brighton told local authorities that he accidentally discovered a portal to another dimension in the city. According to the local newspaper The Argus, the man wrote a letter to officials with information about a "portal or vortex" that can suck careless residents.
According to the anonymous sender, he noticed a strange phenomenon while walking with his pet:
"I was walking with my affenpinscher (a dwarf breed of dog) when I saw that either a portal or a vortex sucking everything in opened on Montreal Road."
The man decided that in front of him was "a window into other times, places and dimensions." He wrote that he wanted to study the hole in more detail, but abandoned this idea because of fears that his dog could get into it.
In an appeal to the authorities, the man writes (at first he decided that we were talking about some unusual installation of the Brighton Festival):
"I think it's dangerous for society. I am waiting for your answer."
After the officials ignored this letter, the next day they received another one from the same sender.
"I recently told you about the portal. So: the situation has worsened. The window exudes a strange yellow color and it seems that a huge snake has appeared from the wall," the text said— "Now I am completely sure that this window is in another time and dimension. I'm worried that if the snake crawls out, someone else might come after it. Could you advise what actions should be taken?".
The Brighton authorities told reporters that they were not going to undertake any investigation in this regard. However, they will not refuse to accept appeals from residents of the city in any way convenient for them in the future.
