Recorded from the words of an eyewitness:
I was about 7 years old. Before that, we buried my father, who died with several colleagues at the factory during the accident. I woke up at night from the approaching trampling. I saw my mother standing on her bed in horror and pressing herself against the wall. She, too, clearly heard the trampling, but also did not see anything. I shouted. The trampling stopped, and then began to move in my direction. Mom ran to my bed and hugged me. After that, the trampling stopped.
