From a letter to the Commission on the USSR:
I, Evgeniya Petrovna Ershova, 54, was on vacation. Taltsevo, Okulovsky district, Novgorod region.
On September 7, at 4 a.m., I looked out the window, because it had been raining the day before, and I was waiting for guests, in the window I saw a large green moon in the sky surrounded by 1 brown halos, at first I thought the moon, but having sorted out my thoughts, that the moon could not be green and not in this place (and this ball was in the northeast) then I got up again from the bed to look at this "moon" it was green, but without halos. Then it took shape (see Figure 1), then the shape changed and became like this (see Figure 2) and I went to bed. My guests were at the Okulovka okt. railway station. The Novgorod region has also seen this phenomenon. But my guests and I did not see the end of the phenomenon, my grandson distracted me, and the guests got on the bus and came to me in the village of Taltsevo.

Booster, the rocket and tracks
For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
