I will speak from the words of an eyewitness, a student of the same institute, Alexey Lobanov. He worked on the night of May 14-15 at the Ruchi station and observed this object. It will be difficult for me to link to the phases, because the observation picture is very different from the one that has just been described.

At 1.45 am, he and another group of construction workers noticed a point with no apparent geometric dimensions in the direction of north - northeast. Thin, absolutely clear rays radiated radially, absolutely symmetrically, from the point. The far edge of the rays was not visible, they gradually lost their brightness and seemed to blur in the sky.

Behind this object, which was slowly moving, in the direction of the southwest, there was a light, as if inversion, trail. The light of the whole structure was white, very similar to the light of a daylight lamp. The light was the same...

B 1.55 began, as it were, the separation of these rays from the central point and their divergence. A dark space began to form around the point, but the apparent size of the object, which was approximately 20 °, remained unchanged, i.e., as if the rays were shrinking, starting from the center.

By 2 o'clock in the morning, the folding of these rays began clockwise, i.e., as if one by one they went out and eventually the whole object formed a dot and a small row of rays hanging above it in the form of a comet tail, directed upwards.

And a little behind the point, a cloud formed, which later acquired the character of an ordinary cloud, but with a clearly visible luminous stripe along its very edge.

By 2.05 the dot disappeared, quickly losing brightness. Those rays that still remained at the top in the form of a comet tail also disappeared. The cloud and the strip along its edge shone until dawn, and gradually its spreading took place. In the morning, in the sunlight, this cloud looked absolutely like ordinary clouds.

I interviewed one of the eyewitnesses who, as part of a group of 5 people, observed the object on the night of May 14-15 in the district of Moiseenko St., this is approximately at the intersection with Mytninskaya Street, i.e., almost in the center of the city.

"On the night of May 14-15, that is, I was with a group of friends, there were 5 of us in total, walking along Moiseenko Street. It was about 2 o'clock. The weather was wonderful, relatively warm, quiet, almost cloudless. Approaching Mytninskaya Street, I suddenly noticed a strange object in the sky, above the building located opposite the printing house, at an angle of 30-40 ° to the horizon. It was a luminous spherical formation 2, 5 - 3 times larger than a star of average brightness. It was perceived as a very big star. We detected the exact time the clock showed 1.53, The glow of the object was like the calm brilliance of a star. His kennels were beaten fuzzy, smeared. Three narrow rays radiated upward from the object, fanning out. The central one was directed vertically upwards.

The light of the rays is comparable to the light of a dim searchlight and they shone more dimly than a star. It was noticeable by eye. Their width was about the same, the contours were blurred, the brightness of the rays did not decrease to the periphery. In addition, a luminous corona consisting of many separate and short rays was observed above the "star" in the sector formed by the extreme rays.

The object moved silently across the sky very slowly, with an apparent speed, but much lower than the speed of an airplane flying at high altitude. Simultaneously with the linear displacement, the oscillatory movements of the star up and down with a very small amplitude were clearly recorded."

The oscillation frequency was approximately 4-6 oscillations per second. I associated this slight trembling with a spiral movement. It seemed to me that the object was flying along a horizontal trajectory from southwest to northeast and moving away from the observer, as it gradually became dimmer and indistinguishable in detail. And finally disappeared, hiding behind the house.

The total observation time was 5-7 minutes. I didn't experience any unpleasant sensations, I don't know if this has anything to do with the described event, but I want to mention one thing - even before the object appeared, I noticed a large elongated cloud with an angular size of about 30-10° ring-shaped, hanging motionless at an angle of about 45-55 ° to the horizon and partially hidden by the tops trees of the square."
