Initial data
Sergeychik V.P. writes to the Commission on the:
.. I was prompted to write a letter by the following case: On October 22 this year, while at work at Norilsk airport, I had to observe an amazing flying phenomenon. At about 19 o'clock local time, an incomprehensible object was flying across the starry sky from west to east. Throwing back bright streams of light. At the same time, a group of military personnel observed this phenomenon with me. The UFO moved completely silently at an altitude of about 8,000-4,000 m. After 1.5 - 2 minutes from the moment my observation began, the luminous flux seemed to be turned off by someone. the area of illumination remained behind the object, and it continued to move, but already in the light ring. Then this luminous halo disappeared, and the object continued to move and soon disappeared. All this was observed for 5 minutes.
Recently, UFOs have been observed at night and during the day often. In the previously described case, the crew of the AN-26 in flight noticed an unknown object flying a short distance from the aircraft...
Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks
For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
