DESCRIPTION An elliptical nebula
(Moscow time) • Beginning 20 hours 47 minutes, end 20 hours 58 minutes.
It was clear in the southeastern part of the sky, very high up, but the stars did not shine through this ellipse.
Visible angular size 4-5°; 2-3°
As the nebula moved (and melted) to the west, this ellipse grew larger and wider and melted.
It didn't glow, the color of fog, even lighter.
There was no sound.
Information about the synoptic situation and the actual weather during the observed phenomenon in the area:
1. Cloud cover in observation points and surrounding areas: 0/0 clear
2. Wind speed and direction at different heights: 4m/sec, 160° -10B
3. Air temperature: 15.3 °
Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks
For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
