The witnesses were sitting in the kitchen of a small cafe across the street from Pedrosa Sanitarium. Through a large window, they saw a lighted yellow rectangle about 30 m away from them and 5 m above the ground.
In this rectangle, the figure of a man walking backwards in front was clearly visible.
Then other figures appeared who behaved in a similar manner; they gathered in the center and disappeared from sight.
The lights went out, and the contours of a large gray object, shaped like an inverted cup, appeared on a plate.
He rose easily and flew away, illuminating the grass and trees.
