A witness found a strange circular footprint, 15.5 feet in diameter and 1 foot deep, in a field of clover, 680 cores from the road. Furrows 4 inches deep stretched from this circle in all directions. It seemed as if a heavy metal grate was pressing down on the ground. At the end of the furrows were holes 1 foot 2 inches deep, which could be left on the ground by "feet" at the end of the grid. An exceptionally strange detail was the white-purple dust that settled into the furrows and holes.
