Initial data
Viktor Borisovich Chernyshev (foreman) tells us.
Around August 1968, at 19 or 19-30 pm, before sunset, a large ball, the size of a solar disk, appeared high in the sky above the village. The color is reddish in the rays of the setting sun. The weather was hot, clear, and quiet. There were 2 light (fire?) emanating from the ball two beams that merged with one at a distance. The ball performed maneuvers up and down, to the side, then froze in place and hung for a long time. Luminous rays were observed all the time. This balloon was observed by many villagers for about 1.5 hours. Then, without turning off the beams, he flew away in an easterly direction. When he left, the sun had not set yet, but it was already low above the horizon.
Hypotheses
Booster, the rocket and tracks
For UFOs often take stages of rockets, parts of space ships burning in the atmosphere, the launches of various missile technology for military purposes, etc., and traces from them. They attract attention mostly in the dark, but in the day time have a greater aura of mystery.
Formation of the track of the launch vehicle occurs in the tropopause (the layer between the troposphere and stratosphere), which sharply reduced the vertical temperature gradient. The emergence of the so-called "jellyfish" influenced by water vapor, which are subject to enhanced condensation.
