The Haunted House

And the legend is as follows: a few years ago, the security guard of the entertainment center told his colleagues about a strange woman who wandered around the right wing of the building in the middle of the night and was looking for her child. 

At first they thought that this was one of the new cleaners behaving inappropriately under the influence of alcoholic fumes. But it turned out that there were no women matching the description in the staff of the institution. No other than a ghost… Soon a similar story from the nineties surfaced. It turns out that a strange woman was also seen by the watchman who was then located in the building of the Venus nightclub.

 

The history of the building of the once exemplary House of Culture of Power engineers, as well as the GRES club, is not connected with any mystical events. One of the first beautiful houses in the city with columns, bas-reliefs and a sculpture of the outstanding Russian scientist of the 19th century Peter Yablochkov on the facade, appeared on Sovetsky Avenue in the 50s and was never involved in dark affairs. The native Kemerovo residents remembered, after all, that a wooden barrack used to stand on the site of the GRES club – the most ordinary house of local factory workers. In the late thirties, a tragic incident occurred in it. A fire started, and the mother did not have time to save her one-year-old baby.
