The owners of Ripley castle, located in the English County of Yorkshire, was left in disbelief after four of the old candlestick, disappeared almost three years ago, was returned to the Ghost.

Sir Thomas Ingilby, owner of the castle, reported that silver objects worth more than 10 thousand dollars disappeared from the building on Christmas eve in 2014. After a long search around the spacious castle, he, in the end, said about the lost candlesticks in insurance company "Ecclesiastes", which had reimbursed him the money for the missing items in the past year.

However, the items suddenly went back to the house under very strange circumstances. After silver was found in bright red Christmas bag, family Ingilby suspects a supernatural culprit of the incident could be a mischievous poltergeist.

"The three of us searched that room from top to bottom, and I searched it myself three times before filing a claim, so to find them in such a simple place was pretty amazing," - said sir Thomas.

This is not the first case when in the castle, something strange is happening. Similarly, a few years ago missing a set of silverware, which after a year and a half found in the same place.

Like every ancient castle, the castle Ingilby has its own supernatural story, and sir Thomas believes that the disappearance of the candlesticks can be a "joke" by the two child ghosts, ancestors Henry and Mary Ingilby who died in the castle from leukemia in the late 19th century at the age of seven and five years.

After the findings of the historic heritage of the family, Ingilby immediately returned the money to its insurer, which was surprised by the course of events.

"We are often trusted to protect the irreplaceable treasures of the country, and we are glad to hear that the candlesticks were found. Often, when clients find themselves lost items. But it is certainly the first time the customer reimburse us for the items which, in his opinion, was returned to the Ghost!" - said the representative of the insurance company David Barnhill.
